The classic board game
Everything you need to know to play Snakes and Ladders online — solo against the bot or with up to four friends on one shared link.
The board has 100 numbered squares, running from square 1 at the bottom left to square 100 at the top. Ladders connect a lower square to a higher one, and snakes connect a higher square back down to a lower one. Each player has a coloured piece — Red, Blue, Green, or Yellow.
Every piece begins off the board. To bring your piece into play you must roll a 6. When you do, your piece enters on square 1 and you roll again. Until you roll your first 6, your piece stays off the board and your turn passes to the next player.
If your piece lands on a square already occupied by an opponent's piece, their piece is knocked off the board and sent back to the start. They must roll a 6 again to bring it back into play, while your piece carries on as normal.
The first player to land exactly on square 100 wins. If your roll is bigger than the number of squares you have left, your piece does not move at all — for example, on square 97 only a 1, 2, or 3 will move you. Your turn simply passes to the next player, so keep rolling until the number fits.
Create a table and share the link — up to four players can join the same game, each getting their own colour. The link stays open until the player who created the table ends the game, so you can finish a match later or play a rematch with the same group.
